everyone has one.
not just a story—a thread.
a personal narrative.
it’s not about crafting an image or making yourself sound interesting.
it’s about alignment.
lining up what’s true for you with a version that makes sense to the world.
the past. the present. the future.
—
it’s not a highlight reel.
it’s not a tagline.
it’s the pattern woven into everything you’ve done.
it’s the thing that connects the random turns, the missteps, the obsessions.
the questions you keep coming back to.
the themes you didn’t realize were there until you stepped back.
you’re already telling a story.
the question is—is it the one you want to tell?
—
i didn’t start with a plan.
i started with curiosity.
what if? why? what’s possible?
the things i care about have always been the same:
creation 🎨. systems. ideas.
not just making things—but making sense of them.
so my personal narrative?
it isn’t “i do this.”
it’s i explore. i create. i refine. i push.
the medium shifts—
design. writing. digital experiences.
but the thread stays the same.
i make things that make people think.
and if i do it right, maybe they make things too.
—
you don’t invent it.
you notice it.
you look at:
your narrative isn’t something you have to force.
it’s already there.
but once you see it—you can own it.
—
because your narrative is the bridge 🌉.
it connects who you are to who you’re becoming.
when it’s clear—
opportunities make more sense.
people understand what you’re about.
you stop chasing, and start attracting.
alignment creates momentum.
so what’s your story?
and is it pointing you where you want to go?
—
Until next time,
Riley
