> Overview
Calsoft was an 18-week enterprise build and my last WordPress project before switching to Webflow. Technology consulting firm with offices around the world, decades of experience, and a website that needed to reflect their credibility. The scope was extensive: homepage rebuild, about pages, contact, multiple office locations with maps and details, blog system with landing and detail pages, industry pages with custom graphics and animations, case study pages showcasing their work, and global localization for international offices. Everything needed to highlight their experience and awards. I worked through a couple WordPress theme variations before settling on enhancing the original theme with custom features. Used a front-end drag-and-drop builder for most of the publishing, which made iteration faster. Sourced assets and graphics from stock image sites, coordinated with different employees across offices to gather case study information, used Evernote to organize all the content and data. This project also involved analytics reporting—tracking leads, traffic, and task completion. The site needed to work as both a credibility builder and a lead generation engine for a global consulting operation.
